The characters of Sealab 2021 live in an underwater research station - which is frequently blown up at the end of every episode. Not counting the miriad orphans hanging around down there, the characters are mostly co-workers and lovers.

Five Facts About The characters of Sealab 2021:

  • 1: Debbie was once impregnated by MC Chris - rap star and voice of Hesh - though her most long-lasting relationship is with Quinn.

  • 2: Captain "Tornado" Shanks is actually a football captain, brought in to replace Captain Murphy -in real life, Harry Goz, the voice of Murphy, passed away.

  • 3: Sparks apparently has his own cult.

  • 4: The Bizzaro versions of the characters came from an alternate universe - and didn't do much to impress the crew.

  • 5: the Sharko character was the result of a money stand-off with the voice of Marco, Erik Estrada.
