About:
Comprised of the states of the northeastern reigon, New England is one of the oldest-settled areas in North America

Five Facts about New England:

1: The area is comprised of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

2: It once included New York, which was integrated into the Atlantic reigon when Maine was incorporated into the Union.

3: Over fifty percent of the reigon is bordered by the ocean.

4: The most densely populated state is Massachusetts - the least-densely populated state is Maine.

5: The Indian Summer - a time of mild temperatures and bright fall foliage - characterises the area's fall.
