About:

IFC, the Independent Film Channel, is a premium digital cable channel dedicated to showing independent films, uncut and unedited.

Three Facts About IFC:

  • 1: In 2003, IFC began to add original programming to its stable of uncut movies. The first show was "Dinner for Five", the next "Rocked: With Gina Gerson," then "Henry's Film Corner". It recently launched three more with "Hopeless Pictures," "Greg the Bunny" and "The Festival"


  • 2: The network launched in September, 1994.


  • 3: The channel also sponsors the production of documentaries related to independent film.

    We don't have that much in the way of rules to follow here; just follow these simple notions and you should be fine.

  • You've got to be a fan of IFC, the channel, in some aspect or as a whole. Otherwise, why would you want to be part of this listing?
