A B O U T

The Fudge Series is a group of five books written by Judy Blume about the Hatcher family and their friends.

The First book, "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing", centers on Peter Hatcher as he recieves his first pet and tries to deal with his young brother, Farley Drexel "Fudge" Hatcher.

The next book in the series, "Otherwise Known As Sheila The Great" tracks Peter's nemesis, Sheila Tubman as she tries to overcome social pressure and her own phobias.

The third book, "Superfudge", follows Peter from New York to Princeton, New Jersey, and tracks the birth of his and Fudge's baby sister, "Tootsie".

"Fudge-A-Mania, the fourth book, sees Fudge beginning to grow up - while the book continues to foccus on Peter, Fudge is given a bigger role as the family heads to a cabin on the lake for summer vacation and Peter is forced to spend the entire summer with his brother and Sheila Tubman in the same crowded house.

"Double Fudge", the newest in the series, follows five-year-old Fudge as he tries out various moneymaking schemes and meets his cousin - another Farley Drexel Hatcher who's also nick-named Fudge.
